Approximately 40 kilometers from Mexico City, San Juan de Teotihuacan, is the archaeological site of Teotihuacan (without the accent, because in the native language all the words, without exception, were flat). Although it contains later settlements and was known by nearly all civilizations that have inhabited their surroundings, the origins of the people that created this city are completely unknown. In fact, the Aztecs of Tenochtitlan (now Mexico City) referred to the site as the city of the gods.
The cheapest form of arrive to Teotihuacan from Mexico City is taking a pesero from the subway station Indios Verdes.
The Pyramid of the Sun, with their 65 meters high, is the third tallest pyramid in the world after the Cheops and Cholula (also in Mexico)
